BRISTOL BRITANNIA

Roger Hargreaves is keen to restore the interior to a high standard and is seeking any information that will assist in the task. He recently emailed me seeking some help in the project. Would it be possible to add the description below onto the website? It might help the reconstruction.

'The ex-Invicta International Airlines Britannia 308F, G-ANCF, 'Charlie Fox' is now on the apron of the old Liverpool Airport and is being re-assembled by a volunteer group, 'The Jetstream Club'.

Roger Hargreaves and the volunteerrs of the Jetstream Club have decided to refurbish the interior of Charlie Fox in reverse order to its service history..............

A) Build replica of one toilet at rear, crew bunks and freighter galley ( we have the original still) to portray its cargo days with Invicta and African Cargo . What I need if you are able to convase ex Invicta people is any photos of the rear crew area and any in service photos. I would like then to have a display showing the aircraft's service with Invicta.

B) Build replica mid-ships galley and second toilet to represent its freighter days with Monarch and British Eagle operating the Woomera Contact. This display would hopefully include some of the rocketry we carried.

C) Finally fit hat racks, first class seats and forward crew area and cargo bay to represent its passenger / cargo combi role on the Woomera contact.

They would be grateful of any help; would anyone with information please email Malcolm from this site.'
